Appointments continue at Brook Lane Surgery
Appointments are continuing, for our patients registered, following a fire on Tuesday 6th April, although these may be held at the neighbouring Fareham Community Hospital (next door) or at Lockswood Surgery in nearby Centre Way, Locks Heath.
Unless you have already been contacted by us with other arrangements, if you already have an appointment to come to the surgery you should still do so although you may then get redirected.
If you wish to make appointments you should still ring the usual number. Today our phones are operational although very busy. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
We have no water supply or heating and this will be the case for a while.
We are running all our services and clinics as normal. Our baby clinic will continue today, although that has been moved to the Community Hospital. We have not postponed any appointments.
Please also be reassured that all patient records are kept, securely, off site.
We are regularly updating this website and would ask you to look here for updates.
I would like to thank everyone for the incredible support we have received from our local community. We have had people turning up offering warmer clothes and scarves, a coffee shop offering hot drinks and a pizza restaurant sending food for staff. We have had flask upon flask of hot water being provided by people in the community.
I would also like to thank staff at the Community Hospital and Lockswood Surgery for finding rooms for our clinicians to use. The support from everyone has been amazing.

|Each patient who uses eConsultation will receive a request via email to complete a survey regarding their experience of this service seven days after their eConsultation. This email survey will come from the eConsult provider not Brook Lane Surgery.
Please Note: This service is intended for our patients who are 18 or over and in the UK at the time of using e-Consult – and not those who are overseas for any reason.
The practice regrets that it cannot offer telephone or email consultations to patients who are outside of the UK, and for legal reasons we are not in a position to deal with any clinical issues involving patients who are abroad. If you are travelling abroad, you should ensure that you have adequate medical/travel insurance. In the event that you require medical assistance, you should seek a local service and inform your insurance company as appropriate.
On return from your travels, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery if you need further assistance and bring any relevant medical information relating to the episode with you.
If you’re travelling in Europe, apply for a free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which may give you access to reduced cost medical treatment in Europe. For more general information about healthcare abroad, go to the NHS Choices website (www.nhs.uk) and search for ‘healthcare abroad.’
