Dr Alan McFarlane retiring Posted or Updated on 19 Feb 2024

We would like to inform you that Dr Alan McFarlane will be retiring from the Practice at the end of February 2024.

He started in the NHS in 1982 and has spent the last 22 years at Brook Lane Surgery.

During this time and in addition to clinical duties, he has been a trainer of new junior doctors who have worked at Brook Lane Surgery. He continues as an appraiser of qualified doctors. He has sat on various boards and task forces, including the CCG and the Fareham Community Hospital, trying to improve the outcomes for all patients.

I am sure that together we would like to wish him all the best on leaving the NHS.
